With Halloween right around the corner, Pittsburgh is getting its scary on! From music to art to haunted tours of our city, the 'burgh has something for everyone. Here are some of the spooktacular activities in and around the Pittsburgh area: 

1. October 1 - October 31, 7:00 p.m. & 9:00 p.m., $25/person Terror Trolley Tour at Station Square A storytelling tour that recounts the horrors of Pittsburgh past! 

2. October 19 - October 31, times vary, $2 members and students; $8 non-members Laser Halloween at Carnegie Science Center It's a party for every age! Come get your Monster Mash on with familiar faces like the Ghost Busters and Beetlejuice! 

3. Friday, October 23, 7 p.m. (Tours run from 90 minutes to 2 hours), $15 Haunted Pittsburgh Ghost Tour  at City-County Building If scaring yourself silly sounds like fun, this walking tour through Pittsburgh's dark side is for you. 

4. October 23 - October 24, 6:00 p.m. - 9:30 a.m., $35/person Spooky Science Sleepover at Carnegie Science Center Not everyone can say they've slept at the Science Center! A laser show, science experiments, and a late-night snack are only some of the reasons you need to make your reservation today. 

5. Friday, October 23, 5:30 - 8:00 p.m., free for members, $15/person Member Spook-tacular Halloween at Children's Museum of Pittsburgh This is a fantastic activity for little ones because it's full of non-spooky fun! Oh and did I mention everyone wears their costumes? 

6. Saturday, October 24, 7:00 p.m., free Lucifer's Gallery - A Halloween-Themed Art Show at Pittsburgh Tattoo Company For the 21 and over crowd, this art show features creepy-themed pieces, refreshments, and a costume contest. 

7.  Saturday, October 24 & 31, 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m., free with admission Owl-O-Ween! at National Aviary in Pittsburgh Wear your costume and get ready for crafts and candy! 

8. Tuesday, October 27, 12:15 p.m., free Supernatural Lore of Pennsylvania at Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh Come listen to author and historian Thomas White discuss the lore behind the stories of ghostly children wandering around their own gravesites or werewolves attacking nighttime travelers! 

9.  Wednesday, October 28, 8:00 - 10:00 p.m., free with suggested donation Yelp's Monster Bash at Mattress Factory Museum 21+ only, please! Wear your favorite costume and enter the contest or let the Yelp crew monsterify you with their mummy makeovers! 

10.  Saturday, October 31, 8:00 p.m., prices vary Igudesman and Joo: Scary Concert at Heinz Hall If you like good music with a side of belly laughs, this event is for you! Igudesman and Joo are comedic musicians who dress for the occasion and you should, too!
