As an effort to comply with the West Virginia Executive Order, the Harrison County health department order and the spread of the COVID-19 virus. Urse Honda is implementing the following steps and action plan effective immediately.Â
- Continue to maintain six feet and practice social distancing.
- Each employee is required to regularly wash their hands with soap
and water periodically throughout the day.Â
Gloves are available to each employee if they elect to use them and can
properly dispose of the gloves in the right fashion.
- No more than two customers are allowed within a 1000 square
feet of space and they must follow the social distancing guidelines. *Service department employee's will be
responsible to limiting to no more than two customers in the service drive at
any time. They too will ensure proper
social distancing
- Urse Honda has paper towels and disinfecting spray readily
available and will continue to stock these supplies. *Please reference the attached CDC
Disinfecting Guidelines For Dealership Employee and Customer Safety
- Effective immediately any, and all employees
accepting cash or personal checks must wear protective gloves in order to
receive and handle this type of currency.Â
Once money is received, that employee must properly dispose of the glove
or gloves and properly thoroughly wash their hands. Any credit card transactions will be handled
using the portable credit card machines.Â
The machines will be disinfected before and after each use in front of
the customer. Urse Honda will promote
the use of credit card machines but will not deny the use of other payment
methods.
- Sales negotiations will be handled maintaining six feet for social distancing guidelines by the sales manager printing two copies of the deal worksheet. One copy for the customer and one copy for the sales representative to be able to review with the customer. The service advisors will perform the same process when reviewing any repair order with a customer to maintain social distancing guidelines. They will print two copies one for the customer and one for the advisor to be able to review with the customer.
