Under the Fit's Hood
The engine that automatically comes with every 2017 Honda Fit is a 1.5-liter four-cylinder unit. It produces 130 horsepower @ 6,600 rpm and 114 lb-ft of torque @ 4,600 rpm. The 2017 Honda Fit is a front-wheel drive vehicle. A six-speed manual is the default transmission, but a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT) is available as an alternative. The four-cylinder engine is part of Honda's Earth Dreams family, meaning that it comes with Honda's i-VTEC and variable valve control, as well as advanced fuel injection. In Edmunds acceleration testing the EX-L with Navi trim could speed up from zero to sixty miles per hour (mph) in 8.8 seconds.
Design of Honda Fit
The 2017 Honda Fit is available in multiple trim levels: LX, EX, EX-L and EX-L with Navi. The 2017 Honda Fit comes standard with LED tail lights, remote keyless entry, a five-inch audio display screen, power windows and locks and a one-touch up/down driver's window. Honda's Magic Seat is standard, as well as air conditioning, steering wheel audio controls, a tilt/telescoping steering wheel, a trip computer, a 160-watt AM/FM/CD/MP3 sound system, Bluetooth connectivity, an auxiliary audio input jack and a USB port. A standard rearview camera on the 2017 Honda Fit will let you see what is behind you. Automatic headlights will turn on when it's beginning to get dark out. Other safety features include electronic traction and stability control, as well as side-curtain airbags. Fog lights come standard on the Fit EX. The EX also comes with Honda's Lane Watch Camera.
