The Odyssey's looks are refreshed with a new hood, front bumper, grille and fenders while the rear remains relatively the same other than new LED-enhanced taillights. Additional exterior features include: Standard 17-inch wheels, 18-inch wheels, available power liftgate, power moonroof, xenon high-intensity-discharge headlights, and power-sliding side doors. The anti-lock braking system uses a special modulator to pulse the brakes to help prevent wheel lockup. This helps the driver retain steering control during hard braking. The Electronic Brake Distribution system balances the front/rear braking forces during dynamic loading.
Honda's latest trick is the new HondaVac system: a powerful vacuum, hose and attachments tucked into the left cargo area trim panel and developed in partnership with Shop-Vac. Only available on the Touring Elite top trim level, it features as much suction power as a garage vacuum and has a hose that can reach every corner of the van. A power driver's seat, air conditioning and cruise control are standard. The Odyssey's looks are refreshed with a new hood, front bumper, grille and fenders while the rear remains relatively the same other than new LED-enhanced taillights.
Honda is committed to providing safety for everyone, which means crash protection not only for our own drivers and passengers but also for other vehicle occupants, and injury mitigation for pedestrians. In a sufficient rear-end impact, the active head restraints move forward and up, helping reduce the likelihood of neck injury. Part of the braking system, EBD is a more exacting method of ensuring that proportionate braking forces are applied to the brakes. Honda is also dedicated to identifying and implementing advanced designs and features that help enhance the safety of vehicles on the road.
